Anti Ragging Cell
Anti Ragging Cell
With reference to Indian Nursing Council Circular no. F.No.22-10/2015-INC(AR) dated 22 May 2015 an Anti Ragging Cell has been established to ensure "Ragging Free Zone" as per the guidlines of the INC. Following measures has been taken:
  • Taking Anti-ragging undertakings in the form of affidavits duly attested by the selected students and the other by the parent/guardian of the selected students at the time of admission to the institution.
  • Form Committees for curbing ragging such as Discipline Committee, Anti-ragging Committee etc. to assist college authorities on menace of ragging.
  • Form Anti-ragging squads to conduct regular and surprise checks all around the campus, hostel, class-rooms and other places vulnerable to incidents of ragging.
  • Issue Booklets to all the students containing the following details what constitutes ragging, punishable ingredients of ragging, punishments and penalty for ragging,
    names and mobile numbers of the members of the Anti-ragging Committee & Squad, Anti- Ragging Helpline, Wardens of Hostels.
  • Instructions to the members of the Anti-ragging Committee as well as other committees to remain vigilant at all hours all around the campus, to conduct surprise checks.
  • Conduct anonymous surveys among freshers to check whether the campus is indeed free from ragging.
  • Display Anti-ragging slogans, posters, sign-boards etc. to create awareness among the students.
  • Keep Complaint Box at various places on the hostels where freshers can drop their grievances.
  • Make arrangements for providing facilities for indoor games so that the students can utilize their energy in play. This indeed is showing positive results amongst the students.
  • Constitute ‘Mentoring Cell’ to oversee and involve senior students and ‘Mentors’ for the ‘fresher’.

The candidates as well as their parents, at the time of admission of the students to the School will be required to furnish an undertaking in the form of an affidavit that the student shall not participate in any form of ragging, strike etc. If found guilty, the School may take appropriate action against the erring students.
